Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 8, 2026

The short version: MotoPartPicker is free for riders. We collect minimal data to run the service. We never sell your personal information. We use affiliate links to earn revenue — this is always disclosed.

1. What We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive the email and name from those providers.

Bike and build data: When you add bikes to your garage or create builds, we store that information associated with your account.

Community contributions: When you verify parts compatibility, your verification (including any notes and photos) is stored and publicly associated with your display name.

Usage data: We collect anonymized analytics (pages viewed, features used) to improve the product. We do not track individual browsing behavior for advertising.

Affiliate click data: When you click a "Buy at [Retailer]" link, we log the click for affiliate tracking purposes. This includes a session identifier and timestamp, but is not linked to your personal identity.
